Well known global organizations have taken up Hybrid work models and continue to thrive in their fields.
As we explored about different hybrid work models in the previous article, its time to see how they have been used in real world.
Primarily In-Office Hybrid Work Model
Mainly office-based work model that also allows for some flexibility. Easy to keep productivity high and build a strong company culture.1. Amazon's Approach to In-Office Hybrid Work
Three years after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, which shifted the corporate world towards remote work, Amazon has announced its intention to bring corporate employees back to the office.
2. Disney: Monday-to-Thursday On-Site
Disney has rolled out a hybrid work model with a solid in-office component, mandating that employees come to the office from Monday to Thursday.
JPMorgan has announced the termination of remote work arrangements for its senior bankers, highlighting in a memo to staff the pivotal role these leaders play in upholding the company's culture and operations.
Primarily remote hybrid work model
In a remote-first company culture, employees work from home or other remote locations most of the time. However, the business might opt to make office space available so teams can meet in-person as needed.
1. Atlassian
Based in Australia. Rather than requiring people to move closer, the business lets each employee decide what works best for them — whether that means coming to an office, working from home or a combination of the two. Workers are even allowed to work outside their designated “home base” for short periods of time each year if that’s what they need to do to stay “energized and balanced.”
LinkedIn have removed all in-office expectations.
